Soil investigation
Designing without a soil investigation means either over-sizing and overpaying, or under-sizing and taking a structural risk. Both are costly.
What we work on
Special foundations, retaining walls, structures: works that do not forgive approximation.

Design, sizing and execution monitoring of civil engineering structures: retaining walls, special foundations, reinforced concrete structures, buried structures, underpinning.
Points of attention
Designing without a soil investigation means either over-sizing and overpaying, or under-sizing and taking a structural risk. Both are costly.
A well-calculated but poorly drained wall is subjected to hydrostatic pressure it was never designed to resist. It is a classic cause of failure.
Once the concrete is poured, the reinforcement can no longer be inspected. The site visit at this exact moment is not negotiable.
On major structures, it carries long-term consequences. It is prepared through traceable checks, not through trust.
Eurocodes (EN 1990 to EN 1999) and Belgian national annexes. NBN standards applicable to concrete and steel. Ten-year structural liability.
